Gardens of Bagnaia and Bomarzo

So I am way behind on my blogging!! Sorry for that it seems like the days are just passing me by too quickly! Last friday for my gardens class we went to Bagnaia to see Villa Lante and Bomarzo to see The Monster Garden! These gardens were the polar opposite of each other! Villa Lante was beautiful and symmetrical and everything in the garden made sense. The Monster Garden on the other hand was full of really weird looking statues and everything was just spread out among the whole garden there was no general direction in which to view the garden! It was really interesting though, all the statues are made out of the rock that are originally there and some of them look like they could have naturally developed that way or they might have been carved! In every single garden that we go to visit there is always no matter what a Pegasus Fountain! The one in Villa Lante was beautiful of course and right at the front of the garden entrance. The one in the Monster Garden however was tiny and in a random spot that you might not have seen it if you weren't looking for it! Both gardens were amazing to visit, and it was really cool to see the contrast between them! Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure!
