Addiction

This dance is from season 5 performed by Kayla and Kupono. It was a Mia Michael's contemporary piece and she wanted it to convey the story of addiction. Mia Michael's is one of my favorite choreographers on the show! Her routines are always amazing! This was such a good dance and the dancers did such a good job of getting the choreographers message across!

Ramalama Bang Bang

So this dance is from season 2 which I didn't actually watch but I was told about a few good dances from it by my friend! And this happens to be one of the favorites I have looked up! It was the Top 8 dancers choreographed by Wade Robson, who also dances with them, he is in the guy in the middle front at the end of the performance. I think it is considered a Jazz dance to the song Ramalama Bang Bang by Roisin Murphy. I love Wade Robson! He is such an awesome choreographer and always has the most original ideas! Which sometimes these ideas don't work out so great but for the most part they are amazing just like this dance!

Favorite Dance of ALL Time!

As promised I am going to post one of my favorite dances from So You Think You Can Dance until the show starts on May 27th! This dance is a hip hop routine performed by Chelsie & Mark from season 4 to the song by Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love." I think this might be my absolute favorite dance of ALL time from all 6 seasons! It was so amazing the first time I saw it and just as good every time I've watched it since, and trust me that has been a lot! I literally would watch this dance every day during this season until my dad told me to erase my recordings on the DVR! haha Now you can watch it as much as me on my blog! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Wisdom Teeth

So I watch the Ellen Degeneres talk show everyday and she found this video of this girl who got her wisdom teeth taken out. This made my day! If I ever get my wisdom teeth out I hope my drugs are that good where I do hilarious things! haha I think it is so funny I just had to share!

Bucket List

So remember how I said I was back to blogging? Well my life is utterly boring right now, so I didn't want to bore you with a lame blog post. However the other day in one of my classes our teacher had us do something interesting. He had us write down at least 5 things we want to do before we die, this is exactly what he said to do....get out of a piece of paper and imagine there is a bucket in front of you and write down at least 5 things you want to do. So it got me thinking of other things than the 5 I wrote down and I'd thought I would share them on here. A lot of them have to do with traveling because let's face it I have become obsessed, while others are pretty random. Here we go...my bucket list:

1. Become fluent in another language: Namely French or Italian

2. Learn how to snowboard: I might be the only person who has never done this.

3. Be my ideal weight: Which is 175, that may seem fat to some people but I'm six feet tall so that is actually really skinny for me!

4. Be Financially independent

5. Own a house

6. Read the Bible: I have read passages from it but never all the way through

7. Get married in the Temple

8. Have children

9. Go on a cruise

10. Work for Disney

11. Swim with Dolphins
12. Travel to all 50 states: I get to add one more state to the list I have been too this summer! I am going to Seattle!

13. Travel to New Zealand

14. Live in Australia

15. See the seven natural wonders of the world: These include Mount Everest, Victoria Falls, Grand Canyon(check), Great Barrier Reef, Northern lights, Paricutin Volcano, and Harbor of Rio De Janeiro: this is a cool website about it http://sevennaturalwonders.org/the-original it also lists wonders of each continent.

16. Go on an African safari

18. Go speed dating: random I know I think it would be fun to try.

So there are my first 20 things I have thought of for my bucket list! I'm sure there are many more things I will think of. What's on your bucket list?

Sick of Blogging....but now I am back.

As you have noticed I haven't blogged for quite some time....I just got sick of it! Blogging about So You Think You Can Dance became time consuming and it was nearing the end of the semester...by the way I am glad with who won, I was happy with the top 3...any one of them could have won and I would have been happy! Anyways my first semester having a new major has ended and now I am on a 2 year plan to get my bachelor's! This year of 2010 I will be taking classes simultaneously through Scottsdale Community College and NAU on their Scottsdale Campus. Then 2011 I am planning to move to Flagstaff to complete my bachelor's and hopefully start on a life of wondrous traveling! My first stop I want to make Disney world...I have already been here but I want to do the Disney College Program! I think it would be an incredible opportunity and an amazing thing to put on your resume! After that I am hoping to move overseas and pursue my dream life of traveling! I have started reading this book:

I am only in the England section so far but every place of the world is filled with such amazing things I can't wait to experience them! This book is going to take me awhile to read! I only read about a couple places a night and there are 1000! From this book I am sure I will think of new places I want to visit and experience that aren't on my list already!

Murder Mystery Mayhem

A little while back I blogged about maybe thinking of doing a murder mystery party and this past weekend me and my friend Alana pulled off a very successful Murder Mystery event! We had 37 people in total(including us) come and we made them come up with names and background stories. Then we took those and made a scavenger hunt with clues to who wasn't the murderer and which weapon was not used, so at the end they would be left with one weapon and one person. Since we had so many people we divided them up into 5 groups of 7 and they all had to go around and hunt for the clues. While people were coming in and mingling we had a mugshot area set up and we took every one's mug shots and they received them on a card stock paper with their background story at the end of the night. We had food for them to eat while they mingled and awesome 40's and 40's inspired music playing as well. When it was time for the murder to happen, we turned off the lights, had someone scream, then our friend Cassie was kind enough to be our victim and let us put fake blood on her while she played dead on the floor and the butler read the rhyme to the game. After that we split everyone into groups and let them go off and figure out the clues. It took about an hour, I would say and then one group figured it out first and won. We had a prize basket for them. After that we took a few group pictures, and then had people vote for awards that we had made up. Some people left right after the awards and some people stuck around for awhile and hung out. It was such a great party and almost everyone came up to me or Alana and told us what an awesome job we did, we even got applauded at one point! It was so much fun! The best part was how into it everyone that came was, everyone dressed up and played their part! Here are pictures of our award winners and some random ones of the night.
